The Zhang Lab opened July 1, 2024 at UC Davis in the departments of Physiology and Membrane Biology (PMB) and Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN).

We are broadly interested in 2 major questions: 1.) How does the uterus regenerate itself in the context of the menstrual/estrous cycle and upon injury? 2.) How does the maternal-fetal interface between embryo and uterus form and develop?
